Nicholas Ambanya is an accomplished agribusiness executive and technical expert with over 20 years of hands-on experience driving growth, innovation, and sustainability across Africa’s agricultural sector. He has held senior roles with leading organizations including Homegrown (K) Ltd (now Flamingo UK), East African Growers, Care International, USAID-funded programs, Kijenge Farming & Agro-processing in Tanzania, Magana Flowers (K) Ltd, and Twiga Foods. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Selu Africa Ltd.
Nicholas brings a strong track record in agronomy, agribusiness setup and management, contract farming (including out-grower schemes for smallholder to large-scale farmers), and agricultural value chain development. He is highly skilled in market linkages, project initiation and management, strategic planning, and policy development.
