Faith Ndunge has a background in Horticulture and works with Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) where she is the Deputy Director Standards International Obligations and Trade .
She has the overall responsibility of Coordinating trade facilitation, market access negotiations, standard setting and implementation as well as trade policy analysis and reviews. She has experience in implementation of phytosanitary systems and standard setting at the National, Regional and International levels. In additional to this she has been active in capacity building of staff, stakeholders and other phytosanitary practioners on phytosanitary measures. She is a member of the Implementation and Capacity Development Committee of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC-FAO). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture and a Diploma in International Trade from the International Trade Centre.
