Eustace Kiarii Gacanja is an accomplished agribusiness and sustainable agriculture expert with over 15 years of experience in organic farming, permaculture, value chain development, agricultural policy advocacy across Kenya and the East African region. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Organic Agriculture Network (KOAN), where he has led multiple national and regional initiatives focused on organic agriculture development, climate-smart farming, policy advocacy, and market systems strengthening.

Eustace holds an MSc in Agribusiness Management and Trade from Kenyatta University and a BSc in Natural Resources Management from Egerton University. His career spans technical training, project design and coordination, financial management, and policy engagement. He has strong expertise in organic standards, market systems, business planning, monitoring and evaluation, and participatory development approaches. He serves on several advisory and technical boards/committees in agriculture, biodiversity, biosafety, and climate change policy, and has published academic and policy work on organic markets and sustainable agriculture. His work combines technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a passion for empowering communities through inclusive and resilient agricultural systems.
