Dr. Gilbert arap Bor is a Senior Lecturer of Marketing and Management at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa’s Gaba Campus in Eldoret. He has served as a faculty member for the last 16 years (2009-2025).

Dr. Bor holds a Doctoral degree in Business Administration – DBA (Marketing) from Moi University (Kenya), an MSc in International Community Economic Development (Micro-Enterprise Development) from the University of Southern New Hampshire, USA, and Bachelor of Business Management from Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya.

Away from lecturing in the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Dr. Bor is a smallholder farmer, practising dairy, maize, avocado and coffee farming, in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. Dr. Bor is a member of the Global Farmer Network, and has attended a number of World Food Prize events in Des Moines, Iowa. This has afforded him visits to American dairy and corn farms, universities, and farm machinery plants, e.g. John Deere. He has participated in Global Farmers’ Roundtables, and received the 2011 GFN Kleckner Global Farm Leader award. Gilbert volunteers as a member of the Global Farmer Network Advisory Council.
