Dr. Esther Muchemi is an astute entrepreneur, who has conquered many mountains and has peaked at the top of her entrepreneurial journey having built the empire that is Samchi Group over the last 20 years-a feat that has had her described by one of the media houses as one of Kenya’s silent female billionaires.

Before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, Dr. Esther professionally had built a sterling career in a tier one audit firms, starting out as a trainee in Ernest and Young and rising to the level of partner at PKF, at which point she decided to take a deep dive into the world of entrepreneurship and set up her first shop on Nairobi’s Koinange Street. That was 20+ years ago.
